Terms of use
Last updated: 20 October 2026
These terms cover the Uma Dica API at api.umadica.com (the "API"), provided by [SELLER LEGAL NAME], CNPJ [00.000.000/0000-00], [ADDRESS], Brasília, DF ("Uma Dica", "we"). By creating a key or calling the API you agree to them.
1. Your key
Each key is personal to you or your organisation. Keep it secret and don't share it, publish it or put it in client-side code. You are responsible for calls made with your key. Rotate it at once if you think it has leaked.
2. What you may do
Show our data in your apps, websites, bots and AI assistants, within your plan's limits. On the free plan you must credit "Uma Dica" with a link to umadica.com.
3. What you may not do
- Resell, sublicense or republish the data as a dataset or a competing guide.
- Scrape, bulk-download or try to rebuild the database beyond normal use of your plan.
- Get around rate limits or quotas, for example with several free keys.
- Use the data to train a model offered to third parties, unless a written agreement says so.
- Use the API for anything unlawful or to harass venues, artists or creators.
4. Paid plans
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through our payment provider (currently Asaas in Brazil). Prices are shown at sign-up. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid month. Under Brazil's Consumer Code you may cancel within 7 days of the first payment for a full refund. Plans and prices may change with 30 days' notice by email.
5. The data
We curate events and places with care, but details change: dates move, venues close, prices rise. The data is provided "as is". Confirm important details with the venue. Uma Dica owns the selection, descriptions and structure of the database; venues and creators keep the rights to their own names, images and content.
6. Availability
We aim to keep the API running but don't promise uninterrupted service, except where a written agreement (such as a Partner plan) gives a service level.
7. Suspension
We may suspend or revoke a key that breaks these terms, puts the service at risk, or goes unpaid, and will tell you why by email when we can.
8. Liability
As far as the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights that Brazilian consumer law gives you.
9. Law
These terms follow Brazilian law. Disputes go to the courts of Brasília, DF, except where consumer law gives you the right to use your own local court.
